THE CICERONIAN SOCIETY EXISTS TO EQUIP AND ENCOURAGE CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS TO SERVE THE CHURCH AS A CENTER OF CULTURAL AND CIVIC RENEWAL THROUGH PUBLICATIONS AND CONFERENCES. IN 2025, WE HELD A CONFERENCE IN HARRISONBURG, VA WHICH SOLD OUT AT 150 ATTENDEES AND 34 SCHOLARLY PANELS AND 6 SPONSORS. ATTENDEES AND PRESENTERS INCLUDED CLERGY, NON-PROFIT LEADERS, INDEPENDENT SCHOLARS, GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS, AND FACULTY FROM ACROSS THE HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES. WE SECURED ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR OUR NEW CONFERENCE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM AND TRIPLED THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2026 EVENT. WE ALSO INAUGURATED A MAJOR BOOK PRIZE FOR RESEARCH ON THE AMERICAN FOUNDING, CALLED THE HERBERT J. STORING PIRZE, WHICH WAS PRESENTED AT THE CONFERENCE. WE LAUNCHED A NEW MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM, OBTAINING 155 MEMBERS BY THE END OF 2025, EXCEEDING OUR GOAL OF 150. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING REVENUE, THE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM WILL HELP US CONNECT SCHOLARS AND EDUCATORS TO ONE ANTOHER FOR PERSONAL AND

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.
