Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $311,941 spent. Our Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorder Prevention Program for Communities of Color provided people in homeless encampments with tools to reduce drug overdose deaths. We additionally provided education on harm reduction, use of Narcan, access to MAT and cultural competence to local service providers.
  2. $270,960 spent. Our Health Equity in Access to Behavioral Health Recovery Services Program established a culturally competent peer support program and increased patient access to our services through Telehealth. Input in the program was also improved with the formation of a Community Advisory Board.
  3. $358,943 spent. Our Take Action LA Program raised awareness about early identification and prevention of mental illness and SUDs in youth. The interactive conference educated teachers, parents, clinicians and youth on early warning signs of mental illness and provided information on local resources for treatment and prevention options. Our staff organized breakout groups for attendees to discuss suicide, incarceration, school failure, homelessness and removal of children from homes. Spanish speakers and teens had their own groups.
