Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  1. $38,425 spent. MONIFF is an international film festival that attracts nearly 3,000 people every year. We continue to seek out partnerships with like-minded organizations in the community to build a robust year-round program beyond our annual film festival each fall. We take pride in representing and sharing the stories of diverse communities. Our selection of local, regional, and global films and filmmakers covers timely topics such as climate change, activism, indigenous cultures, DIPOC, LGBTQ, women empowerment, and more. These films not only entertain but also enlighten and culturally enrich our audiences. In addition to out annual fall festival in 2024, we offered free community screenings on a range of topic areas and host screenings in celebration of Juneteenth, Earth Day, LGBTQIA+ with Keene pride, and in collaboration with local filmmakers. These initiatives have enriched our cultural landscape and fostered a sense of community and understanding among our diverse audiences. The 2024 film fest
