Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $60,524 spent. During 2025 the Jerry Loyola Foundation was extremely successful. We expanded its area of services into the Central California Valley specifically Fresno, Porterville, and Salinas Valley, Monterey Pennisula and into more personal contact with patients battling cancer. The Foundation assisted 98 patients. Many of them received several dispersals form the Foundation. We expanded our area via contact with CHOMP, Salinas Valley Health Care, Stanford Oncology care and Fresno and Porterville Oncology Clinics, Central Coast Oncology Hematology, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Katz Cancer Resource Center, Dominican Hospital Home Health Care and Entre Nosotros Womens Support Group. The total direct amount of assistance was $69,593. This is the most the foundation has ever given out. The $69,593 was in the form of $1,707 in food cards, $2,850 in gas cards, $24,523 in rent assistance, $22,5267 in Quality of Life assistance, $5,427 in utility payments, $9,178 in Junior Golf support, $2,000 in miscellaneous payments including medical supplies, air purifiers, and blood pressure cuffs, plus more and $1,380 in transportation fees. We continued the service of paying for Thanksgiving dinners for families of cancer patients. This years assistance total is evidence of the need for our services and the support we are receiving and providing and the Jerry Loyola Foundations impact on the community and surrounding areas.
