Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $67,447 spent. Kulm Community Development Corp was awarded 2 grants in 2024 to fund the construction of a new health clinic building and it will also house the volunteer ambulance office and equipment. The building project was started in 2025 with intentions to be operational in 2026.
  2. $42,376 spent. Kulm Hometown Events are providing community engagements to support the entire community through the annual Kulm Hometown Events celebration which includes events such as concerts, contests, Bingo, kids games, petting farm animals, rodeos, and raffles. The Kulm Booster Club organizes and sells concessions for a summber t-ball league for children in Kindergarten thru 4th grade.
  3. $4,272 spent. The laundromat was opened in 2020 to accomodate an influx of windtower workers with their needs. The idea was to keep these workers from leaving town and supporting other community grocery and hardware stores. This business now operates at a loss, but still serves the community. Lots for RV hookups were obtained and used for Kulms 125th celebration. Several lots are being used for the new health clinic and ambulance building.
