Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $172,581 spent. TV COMMERCIALS - Commercials are produced and aired to increase the visibility of the the Golf Trail Courses. They are produced to highlight the golf courses offered and the amenities and serices available at participating courses/businesses
- $66,348 spent. SOCIAL AND DIGITAL MEDIA MARKETING - The Lake of the Ozarks Golf Council utilizes social media marketing to target golfers in our key geographic areas to promote Golf Trail Getaway Packages (stay and play packages) at the Lake of the Ozarks. In addition to targeting our drive-to markets for Golf Package ads, we also promote booking tee times online through social media marketing campaigns to golfers in the Central Missouri area that would fall under the "day-tripper" category. The detailed summary reports we receive from these efforts tell us that our strategies work for creating brand awareness for the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail and the Lake of the Ozarks area as a whole.
- $5,435 spent. GOLF TRADE SHOWS - The Lake of the Ozarks Golf Council exhibits at four golf shows each year. In addition to Kansas City and St. Louis - which obviously are prime points of origination for golfers coming to the Lake - the other shows are in surrounding states primarily to the north of Missouri. They will be in states where the warm-weather golf season is shorter than Missouri's which makes the Lake an appealing destination for golfers from these areas. Information from individual Golf Council members who track their customers origins, as well as from our own inquiry database, confirm that this target geographical market is the area from which we have the strongest likelihood of attracting new golfers. Statistics from the show sponsors indicate that the show attendees are precisely the demographic group that we hope to reach by participating in the four shows. The shows are in St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, and Omaha. Five golf shows were attended where approximately 80,000 visitors had the opportunity to visit the Lake of the Ozarks Show Booth. 5,000 Lake of the Ozark Golf Guides were distributed while attending these shows, as well as 5,000 Lake of the Ozarks Visitor Guides.
