Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $281,149 spent. The immunization program supports the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services in increasing COVID-19 and other ACIP-recommended immunizations statewide. It focuses on reaching high-risk and underserved populations, ensuring safe and equitable vaccine administration, and boosting vaccine confidence through education and outreach. The program also provides technical support to at least ten rural health clinics to implement immunization information systems that enhance vaccination efforts.
  2. $275,254 spent. HealthTran, launched in 2014, is a volunteer driver program designed to bridge persistent rural transportation gaps and improve health outcomes for Missourians. It collaborates with local community champions and partner agencies to assess transportation needs, recruit vetted volunteer drivers, and coordinate rides through a HIPAA-compliant scheduling platform. By providing reliable transportation to healthcare and wellness services, HealthTran helps reduce missed appointments and prevent unnecessary emergency room visits.
  3. $195,133 spent. In 2019, MRHA partnered with the Missouri Foundation for Health to pilot a program addressing gaps in acute and specialty care by connecting rural hospitals with virtual care services. The initiative introduced e-Care and e-Hospitalist telehealth services to expand access in medically underserved communities
  4. $113,772 spent. Other: Annual conference, Healthy Blue, NRHA Grant, MARHC, UMC HP Grant
