Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $6,950 spent. Our largest expense was paying for the services of a professional to clean the multiple large fish tanks in our building. These tanks are a highlight of the school building but were developing some issues after years of neglect. Every person that enters the school building sees our fish tanks.
  2. $5,330 spent. Our second largest expense was reimbursements paid out to teachers for classroom materials. This money is used by teachers to enhance the learning experience for students in their classroom and can be anything from books and games to white boards and markers
  3. $3,713 spent. Our third largest expense were supplies for all of the animals that live at the school. Having animals in every classroom is an important part of our environmental magnet. This money was used to pay for food, bedding, tanks, cages, and some new pets.
