Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $1.7 million spent. 1. Outpatient Sex Offense-Specific Treatment Services Alpha Emergence Behavioral Health provides outpatient psychotherapy and group treatment for individuals who have committed sexual offenses and are under correctional or community supervision. Services address underlying mental health issues, trauma, and behavioral risk factors to reduce recidivism and promote healthy, prosocial lifestyles. During the year, AEBH served approximately 1,100 clients through individual, group, and family therapy. This program fulfills the organization's exempt purpose by improving community safety through rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals with sexual behavior problems. 2. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) At the request of the Minnesota Department of Corrections, AEBH operates a specialized Intensive Outpatient Program for high-risk clients who require more structured, multidisciplinary treatment. The program provides 15 hours per week of clinical services, including group therapy, individual therapy, and adjunct support such as therapeutic study halls and skill-building. The IOP addresses co-occurring mental health, substance use, and trauma-related needs, serving as a critical step-down from residential or correctional settings. The program served approximately 50 clients this year and achieved measurable improvements in treatment engagement and stability. 3. Supportive Housing & Workforce Development AEBH provides safe, structured housing for individuals reentering the community following incarceration or civil commitment, along with workforce development opportunities that teach practical employment and life skills. Participants engage in a fair-chance workforce development program, which includes training in e-commerce operations and soft skills necessary for sustained employment. These programs help reduce barriers to community reintegration and promote long-term stability. During the year, AEBH housed 25 individuals and provided employment training to 6 participants.
