What it says it does

The BIPOC in Animal Well-Being Collective BIPOC AWC is a group of Black Indigenous individuals and People of Color who are connected to animals - through work volunteer or community - and are aligned with the Collectives mission and values. The Collective exists to create emotional support and community to share and heal from harm experienced in a predominantly white-led field. We offer a space for connection and provide needed resources within our community centering and uplifting individuals from historically marginalized BIPOC communities e.g. Black Indigenous trans nonbinary or queer folks.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.
