What it says it does

Our mission is ensuring veterans maintain a self-sustaining standard of living. Our primary goal is to connect veterans with existing resources, with the secondary goal of creating solutions if no resources are available. We monitor the veteran's progress and are committed to long-term support, rather than just temporary fixes. Furthermore, we have to address the critical issue of veteran suicides and the need to fill the void in serving veterans effectively. While emphasizing the importance of understanding veteran's challenges and addressing underlying issues such as financial and mental health struggles.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. The Home Remodel and Repair Program helped several veterans that were living in terrible conditions when we were contacted such as living for several years without running water and floors that were completed rotted and falled to the ground. We also built wheel chair ramps, replaced porch railings, and established safe living conditions for 3 of the veterans. We have arranged with contractors to use their access materials to install in veteran's homes so that our services are completely free to the veterans we serve.
  2. Our Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Program has been great for local veterans in our area. We have a therapist on standby 24/7 for our veterans that need to speak to a therapist quickly as well as scheduled meetings that are held at various locations with the therapist on Saturdays for revolving needs of veterans. This therapist is completely Volunteer and there are no costs to anyone for these services. We hope to find grants in the future to pay for an office and hopefully a salary for our therapist.
  3. Our Crisis Management and Emergency Assistance Program helped a veteran that had to have a double lung transplant as well as took care of his home and family while he was incapacitated. This was achieved with other organizations in the area providing financial support as well as our volunteers providing food, labor hours with property maintenance and even helping his daughter with a broken down care on her way to school. Several other veterans received help with this program as well.
