Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $365,413 spent. In 2024, Festival Theatre invited thousands of patrons to enjoy our five main stage shows, along with improv performances, a staged reading, music performances, and other special events. In the summer, we held theatre arts education camps for youth in Siren WI, Chisago City, and St. Croix Falls WI and saw 65 campers over the course of four weeks of camp. We employed theatre artists from across the country and locally. We engaged with our volunteer patrons who built friendships and community when they came to help out at one of the 5 show construction breakdown processes or to usher and serve at the cafe during one of our performances. We operated year round in the St. Croix Valley.
  2. Festival Theatre embarked on a very successful capital campaign in 2024, raising money to furnish the lighting, audio, and other performing equipment necessary to reopen the Historic Auditorium of St. Croix Falls to its fullest performing capacity. The campaign was a great success raising over $700,000 to support the return of the St. Croix Festival Theatre to its original performance venue. Additional assets of $271,000 were acquired as equipment as part of this restoration.
