Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $47,012 spent. "Pets For Life" we provide free spay/neuter, vaccoines and medical treatment for owned pets of low income Saginaw County residents. We also supply pet food and pet supplies with the goal of reducing animal abandonment/surrender rates. In 2025 we helped 1100 households.
  2. $36,800 spent. TNR (trap-neuter-return)of Community Cats. We live trap free-roaming community cats that typically have a caretaker that feeds. We then transport these cats to veterinarian clinic to be treated for any medical issues, spay or neuter, vaccinate and then return to caretaker's yard. This prevents significant suffering for kittens born outdoors and helps with population control. We TNR'd 230 community cats in 2025.
  3. $87,312 spent. Foster-home based Rescue: we rescue animals in dire condition off the streets or they have suffered from abuse/neglect. We provide them food, shelter, complete medical care as well as socialization and love to get them healthy and to trust humans so they can be placed up for adoption. We rehabilitated and adopted out 163 rescues in 2025.
