What it says it does

Our Mission at Center In is to bring life and the love of God to all people especially those experiencing Homelessness. To ensure that everyone is equal in spite of stature in life or personal difficulties and can experience the Love of God through others. More particularly, but without limitation, the purposes of the Corporation are: (a) To demonstrate the love of Christ to others, particularly those who are homeless. (b) To carry out the doctrine to "simply love" through listening and prayer. (c) To protect equality and dignity of others notwithstanding their social or economic status. (d) To foster hope and healing to those in need. (e) To provide practical assistance to those in need, including food, clothing, and basic necessities. (f) To support those in need by connecting them to programs, activities, services, and other resources essential for daily living including housing and similar needs. (g) To do such other things as are incidental to the purposes of the Corporation.

  1. $4,674 spent. Clothing, Beddings and Personal items - Made a monthly visits to the homeless community in downtown Dallas and attended to approximately 912 homeless people. Distributed clothing items that include 18 Backpacks, 38 Ball Caps/Hats, 120 Beanies, 24 Belts , 316 Coats, 24 containers of men's clothing, 24 containers of women's Clothing, 100 pair of gloves, 39 men's underwear, 27 purses, 38 scarves, 282 pair of shoes, 740 pairs of socks, 81 Towels, 32 women's underwear and 108 women's upper wear. Also, the following bedding items were distributed - 36 Bed Sheet Sets, 144 Blankets, 73 Pillows, 188 Pillow Cases, 4 Sleeping Bags and 103 Towels. Personal items distributed include - 5 Anti Creams, 10 Clean Wipes, 840 Cups, 201 Depends, 60 packs of female hygiene products, 720 Hyssops (toiletries), 12 bottles of Large Lotion, 4 Luggage, 67 Reading Glasses, 3 Shaving Kits, 20 Tents, 191 Toilet Paper rolls and 80 Christmas Cards, 86 flashlights, 5 Water Containers, 10 Miscellaneous toiletry bags.
  2. Food - Made a monthly visits to the homeless community in downtown Dallas and fed approximately 912 homeless people. The food provided includes; 11,845 loaves of Bread, 1,728 Hot Dogs, 24 Packs of Protein drink, 380 Miscellaneous Snacks. Beverages served include;210 Cups of Hot Chocolate, 81 liter of Soda and 1,400 bottles of Water.
  3. Ministry - Ministered the word of God to over 1,285 people in the community with a record of 38 salvations and 8 re-commitments. Distributed 245 bibles and 180 religious bracelets.
