Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $5.0 million spent. Foster America played a pivotal role in driving innovation within child welfare systems, particularly through our work in Colorado. We supported the Reimagining Colorado Child Welfare Steering Committee in its efforts to redesign the state's approach to serving families. This includes piloting a community-based response system in Larimer County, a program that connects families to essential resources at the earliest sign of need, aiming to prevent unnecessary family separations and reduce the need for child protection investigations.Foster America expanded its commitment to developing leaders in the child welfare field. We launched our first professional development circle, the National Leadership Circle, bringing together a community of lived experts working in child welfare or adjacent family-serving systems. This program provided opportunities for these leaders to accelerate transformation projects, leverage their lived experiences to challenge injustice, and champion opportunities for families to thrive.
