Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $109,909 spent. The IBC Network Foundation ("IBC") is intensely focused on funding high-quality research on inflammatory and triple-negative breast cancer. Inflammatory breast cancer is an orphaned form of breast cancer due to its rarity and high fatality rate. Typically striking younger women, at a late-stage presentation, 30% of the women are also diagnosed with triple-negative. This combination is highly difficult to treat successfully.
  2. $89,431 spent. Community outreach and patient support programs, including IBC Meet Ups, are mission-driven initiatives designed to support individuals affected by inflammatory breast cancer through in-person connection, education, and community building. Each event includes structured educational opportunities, such as lab tours and presentations by guest speakers, including physicians, researchers, and other professionals with expertise in inflammatory breast cancer. These experiences provide participants with direct insight into current research and treatment approaches while fostering meaningful engagement with experts in the field. The program also created a supportive environment for patients and caregivers to share experiences, reduce isolation, and access relevant resources.
  3. $216 spent. IBC Education Podcast Program - IBC produces a podcast focused on inflammatory breast cancer to provide education, increase awareness, and share patient and expert perspectives. Episodes feature physicians, researchers, and individuals affected by inflammatory breast cancer, offering accessible, disease-specific information and resources to a broad audience.
