Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. Yoga Alliance maintained and operated its international registry of yoga professionals, serving over 100,000+ registered yoga teachers (RYTs) and 7,000+ registered yoga schools (RYSs) globally. The organization invested significantly in modernizing our credentialing infrastructure and developed comprehensive professional standards that center safety, equity, and accessibility. While traditional metrics show steady registry growth, the most significant non-measurable achievement was the extensive community engagement and industry research activities that will inform our enhanced membership and credentialing ecosystem, ensuring standards serve both professional excellence and broader equity and accessibility goals.
  2. Yoga Alliance strengthened and expanded the organization's role as the convening voice for the global yoga community through enhanced advocacy, education, and connection initiatives. Community-building efforts during this transitional year focused on creating a landscape for deeper engagement and more inclusive cultural representation. Beyond quantifiable outreach, Yoga Alliance achieved significant progress in building trust and collaborative relationships across yoga's diverse communities, laying groundwork for expanded collaborative initiatives and meaningful public policy advocacy.
