ADDITIONALLY, THE WCA PROVIDES ITS MEMBERSHIP WITH A DIGITAL PLAN ROOM SERVICE THAT CONSOLIDATES PLANS FOR WCA MEMBERS WHO WANT TO VIEW AND DOWNLOAD PLANS AS WELL AS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUBMIT PLANS AND SPECS TO PUBLICIZE THEIR PROJECTS AND OBTAIN QUALITY BIDS. THE PLAN ROOM IS UPDATED DAILY AND IS SENT OUT ELECTRONICALLY TO THE MEMBERSHIP.
- THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE WCA OFFERS NETWORKING/SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES TO ITS MEMBERSHIP THROUGH EVENTS INCLUDING THE ANNUAL GOLF OUTING (148 PARTICIPANTS) AND THE SPORTING CLAY OUTING (113 PARTICIPANTS).
- THE WCA, THROUGH ITS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS, INTRODUCED 1300 STUDENTS FROM SE MICHIGAN TO CAREERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY THROUGH ITS ANNUAL JUST BUILD IT CONSTRUCTION EXPO.
