Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Teddy Bear Dental Health Fund. Our grant pays for dental work for underprivileged children in Jergers Pediatric Dental Clinic in Decatur IL. Many of whom have severe dental problems such that our $5000 grant may only benefit up to 15 children. The dentists at the clinic themselves donate one day of free dental work for children per year.
  2. Boys Elementary Basketball Program and Girls Elementary Basketball program. Our grant to School District #61 pays for court time balls referees shirts and prizes for two events benefiting about 250 elementary children.
  3. Childrens Miracle Network This program serves kids by supporting health and nutrition education and literacy and youth leadership development. This is support to a larger network of 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada.
