Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $21,360 spent. Boosterthon is a fun run the kids do around a track behind the school. Parents families friends and businesses contribute either a flat rate or an amount per lap. For this school year the goal was to raise money for outdoor learning environments so the kids arent always having to sit in the classroom. The profits will go towards fixing and beautifying a coy pond and garden area in the back of the school and towards new tables and seating for the courtyard.
  2. $11,637 spent. Our Boosterthon proceeds this year went towards classroom equipment for the related arts teachers. We purchased new risers for the kids to stand on during performances that are easier to move. We purchased new Beams buckets for storage jump ropes soccer balls storage scooters floor dots and more to give our students new activities to do and gives them the ability to move things around without hurting themselves. And lastly we purchased new recorders for the Music teacher to use with the 5th graders who will also keep them at the end of the year.
  3. $7,401 spent. Penguin Patch Holiday Shop gives the students the ability to purchase small knick-knacks for pre-determined individuals. It could be for their parents grandparents friends etc. Proceeds go towards serving the teachers and staff or purchasing books for the book vending machine for students at no cost to them who meet behavioral and educational requirements set by the teachers and administrators.
