CANDIDATES FOR CERTIFICATION ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE NAFA CODE OF ETHICS. CERTIFICATION IS RENEWABLE ON AN ANNUAL BASIS PENDING SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF CONTINUED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO DEMONSTRATE CURRENT AND CONTINUED EXPERTISE. THIS CERTIFICATION IS FOR FILTER SERVICE TECHNICIANS AND FACILITY MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK WITH AIR FILTRATION PRODUCTS. APPLICANTS TAKE A 100 QUESTION, OPEN-BOOK EXAM BASED ON THE NAFA INSTALLATION, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF AIR FILTRATION SYSTEMS MANUAL.
- THE NAFA CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN LEVEL II (NCT II) CERTIFICATION IS FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO MAY BE REQUIRED TO CHANGE FILTERS EXPOSED TO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. TRAINING FOR THIS CERTIFICATION FOCUSES ON BAG-IN/BAG-OUT HEPA FILTERED BIOHAZARD FILTRATION SYSTEMS. IT IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE.
