Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $1.1 million spent. Riverwoods Family Campus is our 85 acre residential camp and conference center located in St. Charles. Every summer, Riverwoods provides over 800 children and teenagers from low-income communities the opportunity to come to summer camp at no cost to their families. Riverwoods also provides its facilities to be used on a rental basis, and the majority of these guest rental functions are also religious in nature.
  2. $455,882 spent. Riverworks Lifeskills Outreach is the ?community side? of our ministry. Riverworks has full time staff members, called Community Coordinators, whose primary purpose is to equip and empower local churches to do ?hands on? ministry in the housing communities of Aurora and Elgin. The Riverworks ministry and our church partners currently reach a portion of the over 800 youth served through the summer camp. We are working to build more church partnerships with the goal to eventually reach a point where all of the youth served through the summer camp will have an opportunity to be mentored and disciple in their Christian faith year-round through local church ministries.
