Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $85,552 spent. Since Covid the rescue world has been inundated with needy dogs. Moonsong Malamute Rescue does their best to find and match the right families with the dogs we take in to help. In 2025 we received over 250 requests to rehome dogs. Since we do not have a facility but rely on foster homes and boarding there is no way we can possibly help them all. However we successfully placed 25 dogs in happy homes in 2025.
