Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $81,912 spent. Educational: During the 2025 season 2024 tax year the Fort Wayne Volleyball Club had 85 athletes ranging in age from 10-16 years old on 9 teams. Players were divided into three skill levels based on age and ability. Level one had 2 teams consisting of 19 players ages 10 - 12. These players received instructional training of basic volleyball skills 2 nights a week for January - April. Level two is the regional league of 12 - 14 year old players. The Club had 67 players on 7 teams. These teams train twice a week and played competitive games with other northern Indiana volleyball clubs once a month. Level three is the high school regional teams. The Club had 18 players on 2 teams who trained three 3 times a week and played at least one 1 sometimes two 2 competitive games a month.
  2. $12,485 spent. Competition: The Fort Wayne Volleyball Club is proud to have represented 125 area schools from northern Indiana and northwestern Ohio over its 39 years of operation. As the results of training and competitive play the total number of high school seniors moving on to Collegiate Volleyball is over 275 since its inception in 1987. Due to the influx of other volleyball clubs in the Fort Wayne area the Fort Wayne Volleyball Club has down sized its operations and is concentrating on the grades 5 - 12 in smaller groups for a closer player to coach ratio. We are working on basic training and competition with a lower player cost in order to make the game more affordable during the training ages
