Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $3,054 spent. We performed a concert titled English Choral Masters, in which we performed William Byrd's 16th Century Mass for Four Voices, Paul Mealor's setting of Lord Byron's She Walks in Beauty, Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five English Folk Songs. The performance included both a choir and organ, and was presented to both an in-person audience and live-streamed online. The total attendance for the concert was ~150 people.
  2. $6,679 spent. We performed a Spring Concert titled Music of Hope in Uncertain Times. Our group performed a diverse series choral pieces based around themes of hope, including Haydn's Missa in Angustiis (Mass in Troubled Times) and To the Hands by Caroline Shaw. The concert included both in-person and virtual attendance. The total number of attendees was over 150 individuals.
  3. During the Winter Months, our choir performed a number of caroling events, where we sang Christmas Carols and other holiday songs at public events. These performances were free to the public, and took place in public spaces. The total number of benefited parties is difficult to estimate, but is likely over 1000.
  4. $2,730 spent. We performed Handel's The Messiah as a sing-alongs. The concert featured a full orchestra, our choir leading the choral sections, but the full audience was invited to sing along. We loaned copies of the score for attendees. The concert was free to the public, and was attended by over 250 individuals.
