Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

This return does not answer enough of the governance questions to score.

- $189,555 spent. See Sch O The foundation collaborates with agencies, engaged in international public health efforts to improve health outcomes. Specifically, the foundation identifies prospective collaborative partners formal organizations, such as NGOs and nonprofits or individuals with which to work to achieve specific health-related goals. These goals are achieved through surgical and medical missions, health-related projects such as the installation of wood-burning cooking stoves in homes where families cook on a dirt floor using stones in a ring to contain a fire, education, food deliveries to the elderly and more. The foundation focuses its work in the remote area of the Alta Verapaz Province in central Guatemala. In 2025 the principal work of the foundation and its executive director have been to finish the construction of a surgical clinic in the town of Santa Cruz in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala and to procure medical and surgical equipment necessary to outfit the surgical clinic upon its completion. The foundation was pleased to have the grand opening of the Guatemalan surgical center on February 21, 2026. In 2025 the foundation shipped two 40-foot containers to the clinic filled with surgical and medical equipment to be used in the clinic itself. The clinic is currently up and running and offering medical services with surgeries to start in October 2026. The foundation expects the number of surgical missions coming to the clinic to expand over the coming years so that more surgeries can be offered to serve more people.
- In addition to the public health-related projects it supports in Guatemala, primarily the construction of the surgical clinic, the foundation has also developed additional partnerships with nonprofit organizations which also focus their work on healthcare projects in Guatemala. In 2025 we were excited to continue our relationship with Advance Community based in Phoenix, Arizona, which developed a memorandum of understanding with the organization the foundation primarily supports in Guatemala Living to Serve, based in San Cristobal Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. We were also able to develop our relationship further with the organization Provision International. Provision International was extremely helpful in providing warehouse space for us to prep the container shipments before the containers went to Guatemala. We continued to partner with Vine International to assist us in the shipping logistics and have discussed working with Vine further within Guatemala itself. Both organizations focus on providing healthcare and food in Guatemala and Central America at large. Healthworks Collaborative is excited to develop new relationships with other nonprofits as well as to begin a concerted effort towards developing surgery teams. The surgery teams often serve more than 80 patients in the one-week mission trips that they perform. Healthworks Collaborative also supported the purchase of wood-burning stoves for a stove building project in homes for families cooking on a dirt floor. These families are typically Mayan and do their cooking on the floor of their home, which jeopardizes the health of the family due to the extreme amounts of smoke in the home. Once we have installed stoves, which ventilate smoke to the outside of the home, living conditions inside the home are much improved.
