Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $9,619 spent. During 2025, Care Across Continents formally inaugurated a comprehensive, multi-faceted partnership with New Life Church, located in Area 27 of Lilongwe, Malawi - one of the most underserved urban communities in sub-Saharan Africa. This partnership encompasses medical care, primary and secondary education support, and pastoral training, and is organized around four distinct Lines of Effort that together address the physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the Area 27 community. During 2025, Care Across Continents made its first direct programmatic investments in Lilongwe, Malawi through its partnership with New Life Church. CAC initiated its medical clinic program in partnership with New Life Church during the fourth quarter of 2025. A cash grant of $9,500.00 was awarded to the church, which was used for the purchase of land upon which a proposed medical clinic will later be constructed. The medical clinic program constitutes the flagship mission activity of this developing partnership with New Life Church.
  2. $1,578 spent. CAC procured and donated 20 English-Chichewa hymnals, 80 Nyimbo za Mulungu Chichewa hymnals, and 80 Buku Lopatulika Chichewa Holy Scriptures to the congregation of New Life Church. These materials directly support the spiritual life and worship capacity of the church community that anchors CAC's entire Malawi partnership. The Buku Lopatulika is the standard Chichewa-language Holy Bible used throughout Malawi, and its distribution to church members is consistent with the Organization's faith-driven mission of serving the whole person - body and soul.
  3. $1,051 spent. Care Across Continents procured educational books and reference materials for New Life High School through multiple Lilongwe-area booksellers, including Good News Bibles for student use. The Organization's strategy of purchasing from local Malawian vendors - Town Center Books, Thawo Bookshop, Grey Matter Limited, and Claim Bookshop - reflects a deliberate commitment to supporting the local economy while fulfilling the educational component of the partnership.
  4. $1,217 spent. For New Life Primary School, CAC purchased curriculum-aligned books directly from the Malawi Institute of Education (MIE) - the national body responsible for setting and approving primary school curricula in Malawi - as well as from Maneno Bookshop in Lilongwe. Multiple purchase receipts denominated in Malawian Kwacha (K) reflect transactions executed in-country, consistent with the Organization's policy of local procurement. These materials serve students across the primary school grades and directly support the educational advancement of Area 27 children.
