Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. Sons and Daughters will carry out these activities by providing financial and operational support to other organizations that meet its charitable goals, ensuring full accountability and alignment with U.S. tax-exempt standards. Sons and Daughters will partner with local churches, community leaders, and non-profit organizations who provide holistic care to vulnerable families. It will provide financial support to other charitable organizations that supply education and training for church and community leaders, caregivers, and volunteers to equip them with tools and resources to prevent family breakdown, respond to crises, and support children and families more effectively. That training is delivered through workshops, printed and digital materials, and hands- on mentorship. Sons and Daughters will financially assist organizations that improve the mental and physical well-being of children and families, especially those involved in foster care or adoption. Sons and Daughters will also support organizations that provide counselling services through mental health professionals to kinship caregivers, birth moms, and individuals interacting with vulnerable populations. The work of Sons and Daughters is rooted in Christian values and supports the compassionate mission of the Church to serve the poor and marginalized. However, Sons and Daughters will support organizations that provide services regardless of faith background, and its primary purpose remains charitable and educational in nature.
