Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $184,218 spent. Academic Coaching: The Math Agency provides small-group academic coaching to elementary school students attending public schools, with a focus on helping students who are below grade level accelerate their academic growth and build confidence as learners. The program combines trained academic coaches, personalized learning technology, and ongoing progress monitoring to provide individualized support in a highly structured environment. During the year, The Math Agency served more than 230 students across seven public schools. Students participated in regular small-group coaching sessions delivered by approximately 100 trained volunteer and paid academic coaches. The organization achieved its largest student reach to date while continuing to improve program effectiveness. Based on the organization's analysis of student performance data, participating students averaged more than 1.5 grades of academic growth per year. The organization estimates that participation in the program contributed an additional 0.8 grades of academic growth per student beyond what would otherwise have been expected. These figures are estimates derived from program assessment and learning-platform data. In addition to direct services provided during the school year, The Math Agency operated summer academic coaching programs serving approximately 35 students across two schools. These programs provided continued academic support during the summer months and helped students maintain learning momentum between school years. The objective of the program during the current year was to accelerate academic growth for participating students while expanding access to high-quality academic coaching. The organization's long-term goal is to close educational opportunity gaps by developing and scaling highly effective, data-driven academic coaching programs for students in underserved communities. During the year, the organization also continued to improve its understanding of program effectiveness through ongoing data collection, analysis, and evaluation. These efforts have strengthened the organization's ability to measure outcomes, identify best practices, and further improve student impact as the program grows.
