Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. During the tax year, Divers Atlas launched its website and public-facing online atlas to improve diver safety, public education, and collaboration in underwater exploration and research. By year's end, the platform included 6,316 dive sites, 678 site photos, 253 site maps, 14 3D models, 152 updated data fields, and 102,758 total data points. The organization grew to 252 total members, including 71 contributing members who made 10,158 data contributions to the platform. Divers Atlas also attended multiple conferences during the year to present its mission, build partnerships, recruit contributors, and increase awareness of accurate and up-to-date underwater mapping resources. Florida was the most active region on the platform during the reporting period. These activities advanced the organization's exempt purpose by expanding public access to underwater geographic information that supports diver safety, exploration, and research.
