Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $3,956 spent. IN 2025, FIRST PEOPLES COMMUNITY CENTER (FPCC) ACHIEVED SEVERAL FOUNDATIONAL MILESTONES THAT SIGNIFICANTLY ADVANCED ITS MISSION TO SERVE NATIVE AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES IN NORTHERN COLORADO. THE ORGANIZATION FORMALLY OPENED ITS DOORS AND BEGAN OPERATING OUT OF THE OLD COLORADO WELCOME CENTER, ESTABLISHING ONE OF THE REGION'S FIRST DEDICATED CULTURAL SPACES FOR NATIVE COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO GATHER, CONNECT, AND ACCESS RESOURCES. THIS PHYSICAL SPACE MARKED A CRITICAL STEP IN ADDRESSING LONGSTANDING GAPS IN CULTURALLY GROUNDED COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE. -------------- SEE SCHEDULE O FOR MORE DETAIL ------------------
  2. IN JULY 2025, FPCC'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS SUCCESSFULLY SECURED INITIAL SEED FUNDING, ENABLING THE ORGANIZATION TO TRANSITION FROM A VOLUNTEER-LED INITIATIVE TO A STAFFED NONPROFIT. THIS INVESTMENT SUPPORTED THE HIRING OF FPCC'S FIRST EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, STRENGTHENING ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY AND POSITIONING FPCC FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH. IN AUGUST 2025, FPCC CONVENED ITS BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLESSING, BRINGING TOGETHER NATIVE FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO CELEBRATE AND SUPPORT INDIGENOUS SCHOLARS. THE EVENT PROVIDED CULTURAL AFFIRMATION, COMMUNITY CONNECTION, AND TANGIBLE SUPPORT TO STUDENTS PREPARING FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR. IN NOVEMBER 2025, FPCC PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED THE HIRING OF ITS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DURING ITS FALL HARVEST DINNER, A COMMUNITY-CENTERED GATHERING THAT FURTHER SOLIDIFIED RELATIONSHIPS AND VISIBILITY. FOLLOWING THIS LEADERSHIP TRANSITION, ORGANIZATIONAL OPERATIONS EXPANDED, AND PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITIES BEGAN TO SCALE, REFLECTING INCREASED STABILITY AND MOMENTUM.
