What it says it does

As an emerging nonprofit, we aim to equip women ages 18-35 with the financial knowledge, emotional resilience, leadership development, mentoring, and faith-based foundation needed to build stable, confident, and purpose-filled lives. With this education, they can break the poverty cycle, build wealth and strengthen families, as well as communities for the next generation.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Primary exempt purpose. God's Daughters Divine is an emerging non-profit that offers Free Career Skills Training for women in Cobb County to help lift them out of low income and poverty by enabling them to secure better employment. A class location has been provided by The First Christian Church of Mableton, Georgia, without charge or expense.
  2. Part III, line 28. God's Daughters is a new nonprofit that has just laid the foundation for this business and has yet to run a full class. We've joined various local community organizations, attended meetings, participated in volunteer work with them, developed newsletters, and held information drives for sign-ups. By doing this, we've met and developed a relationship with other leaders who can help spread the word. In addition, flyers had been printed and distributed, snacks had been made available at each event, and social media accounts had been opened.
  3. Part III, line 29. God's Daughters has not only donated children's, men's, and women's clothing and shoes to organizations, but we've also collected casual and business-type clothing and shoes from family and friends to provide to young ladies in need as they prepare for successful interviews.
