INDYKIDS HOLD FIVE CYCLES OF ITS THREE-PART KID REPORTER PROGRAM (KRP) JOURNALISM WORKSHOP, WHICH TRAINS YOUTHS AGES 9-15 IN THE NEW YORK CITY METRO AREA CRITICAL MEDIA LITERACY, INTERVIEWING, PDCASTING WRITING SKILLS TO PRODUCE A PRINT NEWSPAPER DISTRIBUTED NATIONWIDE. DURING THIS PERIOD, INDYKIDS LAUNCHED THE FIRST EVER KRP SUMMER CAMP AT THE NEWMARK GRADUATE SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM AT CUNY. WE ACCEPT BETWEEN 10 AND 15 STUDENTS FOR EACH CYCLE OF KRP. THIS YEAR, WE TRAINED A TOTAL OF 80 STUDENTS IN THE PHYSICAL WORKSHOP.
