Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Continuing serious physical health issues affecting the organization's principals as well as continued unrest in Haiti precluded overseas ministry trips in 2024. During 2024 Chrysalis Ministries was able to facilitate the delivery of substantial humanitarian relief aid funds to the Free Methodist Church and Bible School in Port au Prince Haiti. These funds were distributed to church members and others to provide critical assistance with food, shelter, education and other basic needs during increasingly difficult and dangerous living conditions in Haiti.
  2. Ongoing primary ministry activities of consulting, mentoring, and teaching continued in online Zoom format as an effective alternative to in person meetings. This allowed Chrysalis Ministries to continue to offer its primary program services and accomplish its core purposes without additional cost in 2024.
  3. Chrysalis Ministries' President continued two writing projects in 2024, one a book on leadership and the second a book on effective teaching for transformation.
