What it says it does

Drawn To Help was created to supplement existing art programs at hospitals camps and treatment facilities around the country. We help arrange visits by successful cartoonists and talented artists who want to have their own tremendous impact on the lives of these children. Our volunteers do bedside visits with pediatric patients and provide group sessions with children whose conditions allow them to participate in a more social setting. Our lessons are tailored to fit the abilities and needs of each child making it as easy and fun as possible for them.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  2. Drawn to Help expanded our outreach to include relief efforts in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene decimated the area. In conjunction with other organizations Drawn to Help provided food clothing heaters and propane to survivors of the storm as well as other supplies that were needed by victims of the flooding that occurred here.
  3. Drawn to Help provided large quantities of books art supplies and therapeutic programs for children and some adults in areas hit hardest by Hurricane Helene. Libraries and schools were shut down for months after the storm hit and we wanted to help kids be able to continue to learn and help them improve their literacy. Our programs also helped lift their spirits and experience a bit of a return of normalcy to their lives.
