What it says it does

Hope 2 Others International offers a tangible expression of love through the provision of clean water. This is accomplished through manually drilling water wells and designing hand pumps from simple pvc materials so that those in need have direct access to that water. Hope 2 Others International is run by an all volunteer staff.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $41,551 spent. Hope 2 Others International (H2O) continued its family well drilling program in The Gambia and Southern Senegal. The effects of post COVID 19 inflation has been the greatest obstacle to our operations. With the local currencies declining value and the cost of rice sky rocketing due to war in Ukraine, families have no discretionary funds to pay our laborers to drill. To be sustainable, our local drillers need to be able to earn an income and cannot work for free. Even with this obstacle, we were able to drill approximately 90 water wells. During this slow period, our focus has been on designing and testing a new solar powered water delivery system. We currently have 18 systems installed for final testing.
