Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $313 spent. Pioneer days: there are demonstrations of open-hearth cooking and baking apple pies over a fire; children are given the opportunity to play games typical of the 1800s. Additionally, Interns give tours of an early 1800's log cabin. This event is held in conjunction with "Hike-a-Thon," an event sponsored by Miami University. Attendees about 500.
- $881 spent. Summer program series of events with semi-weekly weekend demonstrations and hands-on experiences, such as, Old Fashioned Laundry Day; Frontier Treats--churning ice cream; Art of the Quill, i.e., writing with a hand-made quill; Pioneer Crafts, e.g., dipping candles and making dolls; and pioneer book binding. Attendance varies with each program. These events are all held outdoors, thus the weather at times will influence the number of participants. Attendance varies from 50 - 70 at any one weekend event.
- Tours of the historic Doty Homestead house and barn (mid-1800s) and DeWitt log cabin (early 1800s): Interns give weekend daily tours of these properties and explain the origin and use of various artifacts and provide demonstrations of selected artifacts at these three sites. For example, interns will demonstrate the use of a loom or explain how to use a corn sheller and letting attendees try it for themselves. Most artifacts have a explanatory sign to allow visitors to tour the house and/or barn on their own. The attendance at these weekly tours varies because of the weather. The average is about 55 per weekend.
