Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $7.9 million spent. Hollywood Schoolhouse is an independent school for grades preschool - 6 with enrollment of 295 students on our campus in Los Angeles, CA. We are well known for a blended program of progressive and traditional instruction as well as a strong community that supports students throughout their entire journey in primary education. Life on campus inspires students to not only be academically strong, but also artistically proud, physically active, and socially grounded. From our student council and community garden, to organic lunches, swim program, after school enrichment and camp offerings throughout the year, there is always something new happening at the Schoolhouse, with our fearlessly curious students moving us forward. The Schoolhouse is comprised of three divisions: Early Childhood, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary. Each division covers our five core subject areas: language arts, history, math, science, and Spanish differently, while preparing students for the division ahead. These areas of instruction are supported by a deep enrichment program that includes: physical education, visual art, performance, music, technology (beginning in lower elementary), library and a host of electives (beginning in upper elementary).
