Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Band Parents
Public records show a registered, tax-exempt organization in good standing.
What it says it does
NABEBP supports the needs of the Nazareth Area High School's band program. It provides financial assistance for instrument purchases or repairs, uniforms, travel expenses for competitions or performances, music scores, and other essential resources. NABEBP incurs the expense for the music rights for the show performance, saving the school district critical funds. In addition, NABEBP aims toensure that all students involved in the band program have access to the resources and support they need to thrive musically and academically. Their enthusiastic support of the Band also encourages active student Band member participation within their school and extended community, strengthening these relationships.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
- $66,368 spent. Fundraising. NABEBP undertakes a number of fundraising activities throughout the year, although fundraising is not the organizations primary function and funds raised support the organization as a whole, not only those who individually or whose families participate in the fundraising events. The money generated from these activities funds the purchase of necessary equipment, uniforms, covers travel expenses for both students and Band directors, recognition activities for the Band, and provides monetary assistance for students in need. Merchandise Sales: NABEBP sells a variety of goods to raise funds in support of the Band including flowers, bedsheets, nut rolls, coupons for local stores, fudge, easter candy, donuts, and laundry detergent. Band members are required to volunteer for at least two fundraising events to encourage student participation in the success and support of the Band.Seventy-five percent (75%) of funds raised from these events go into an account that funds Band members upon application to the NABEBP Board to support their individual needs (e.g. funds to purchase personal equipment, costumes, etc.) in the event of financial hardship. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the funds generated from these activities go towards NABEBPss general operating expenses, including paying for music copyright fees, fuel/transportation costs, and instructor fees. General Fundraising Events: NABEBP engages in a number of events that help fund the organizations general operating expenses, including staffing a concession stand at an Iron Pigs AAA baseball game, an annual car wash, and a dinner and raffle of goods donated by local businesses. Local community restaurants will also dedicate a day or an evening in support of NABEBP and donate a portion of the sale proceeds during that designated timeframe. Student Band members are obligated to participate in these activities. Money raised from these sales supports general operating expenses.
