Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $4,978 spent. Collaborated with the Benton Franklin Health District to plant trees near school playgrounds to help educate on and reduce the effects of the Urban Heat Island Effect. This helped facilitate our outreach to youth who were able to plant the trees and helped us showcase the usefulness of trees on playgrounds.
  2. $1,985 spent. Educational outreach. We were able to host a day long workshop for local jurisdictions in conjunction with the Department of Natural Resources. The workshop offered education on emerging invasive species tree care and disease control. We were also keynote speakers on proper tree care for other community events.
  3. $348 spent. We helped the cities replace their canopies and enhance their arboretums by adding signage and taking part in various tree plantings throughout the year. Our primary service was having volunteers on hand to help with planting and with identifying trees.
