- The Nantucket Triathlon Club sponsors and manages the Nantucket Half Marathon which has over 750 runners. This is the primary fundraiser but also entails significant expense running this event. The Nantucket Half Marathon promotes community and healthy lifestyles. The race also features the First Responder Challenge with the Islands First Responders participating in a team competition.
- The Nantucket Triathlon Club issues a number of grants to Island athletic and health programs. We provided over $30,000 in grants. The Club supports free family swimming at the Nantucket Community Pool. We also support youth and high school sports and Swim Across America Nantucket. The Club provides logistically and financial support to the other running races on Nantucket.
- The Nantucket Triathlon Club through the Monument Running Group and Nantucket Open Water Swimming hosts weekly swims and runs on Island open to all individuals. We also sponsor through volunteer and financial support the Adult Learn to Swim and the Intermediate Swim Series designed to teach people how to swim.
