SLT Program is student led and driven around problem solving on various local issues. The SLT Program equips youth with the skills they need to problem solve and present solutions to those issues identified by the group or individual students. SLT is about developing students into leaders that learn first hand through tangible and practical experiences how to give back and contribute their skills to their local community. SLT Program uses a Harkness style method to allow for problem solving of complex issues. SLT program also incorporates several social emotional learning elements into the curriculum so that students are self aware and can self regulate and manage their relationships with other students and decrease instances of negative behavior in the group setting.
