What it says it does

To aid in the high levels of student drop out rates. We developed three programs "Get On Board Program", "The Speak Out Program", "Padres Unidos" all in an effort to combat the high levels of student drop rates within middle school and high schools. We have partnered with our local school districts, community members, and student families to create an environment of motivation and information of trade and high education options.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $2,000 spent. The Get On Board Program in partnership with Clark County School District, National/Local Businesses, and Community Leaders encourages and seeks to work with High School and Middle School students in a one day all expenses paid sanctioned school field trip dedicated to motivate, inform, and energize students for college/trade. This program hosts about 3 to 4 of these field trips within one school year and it impacts around 1,500 participating students.
  2. The Speak Out Program is a high impact motivational presentation in which Middle School and High School students can invite community and business leaders to share their personal stories in an effort to connect with students and provide local mentors.
  3. Padres Unidos is a program that is geared for Spanish speaking parents looking to advance in their English skills, find resources within our community, and seek meaningful employment. This program is dedicated to help parents of the students we assist since positive change starts at home. This program also seeks to involve parents in the students education and familiarize themselves with college and trade opportunities.
