These come from the organization's own tax return. There may be a good explanation; ask the charity.

Governance

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $62,289 spent. PET HELP & RESCUE APP In addition to our extensive educational resources on domestic animal issues, Animal Help Now has added a household animal evacuation app to its repertoire. Pet Help & Rescue (PHaR) is slowly but surely gaining credibility in the emergency management landscape. We were honored to speak in November at the annual conference of the International Association of Emergency Managers. The talk was well attended, and our presence at the conference created a number of opportunities to mainstream the app. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley (CO) has integrated PHaR into their emergency preparedness/response literature, as have several governmental emergency management agencies. See www.PHaR.org for more information.
- $51,773 spent. WILDLIFE EMERGENCY AND WILDLIFE CONFLICT SERVICES Animal Help Now's Wildlife Emergency service was accessed 150,394 times in 2025, a 20% increase over 2024. During the busy season (March-August), the service was accessed, on average, once a minute across the United States. Per usual, the animals most in need of help were birds and small mammals, no doubt due primarily to cat and dog attacks and window strikes for birds. Animal Help Now's Wildlife Conflict service was accessed 12,911 times in 2025, a 14% increase over 2024. As with wildlife emergencies, the top animal categories for "nuisance" wildlife issues were birds and small mammals, with bats, reptiles and skunks comprising an appreciable percentage. See www.AHNow.org for more information.
- $6,380 spent. WILDLIFE REHABILITATOR EMERGENCY FUND In 2025 Animal Help Now distributed $3,700 in small rapid grants to wildlife rehabilitation operations impacted by disasters. Grants were generally in the amount of $400, and all were distributed within 24 hours of application. They helped operations impacted by the Texas Hill Country Floods, the Los Angeles Fire, wind damage in Iowa, flood damage in Arkansas and a fire at an opossum rehabilitation operation in Virginia. Additional funds were expended on technology to help us more effectively identify operations that were likely impacted by a disaster.
