- $1.2 million spent. MISSION TRIPS -IN FISCAL YEAR 2025, BOLD HOPE TOOK 712 TRIP PARTICIPANTS ON 60 MISSION TRIPS TO 3 COUNTRIES TO SUPPORT THE GOOD WORK THAT OUR PARTNERS FAITHFULLY CARRY OUT YEAR-ROUND. OUR TEAMS SERVED IN VARIOUS WAYS IN IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES BY DOING THINGS LIKE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS FOR ALL OF THE CHILDREN IN OUR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES SUCH AS TEACHER TECHNOLOGY TRAINING AND BIKE REPAIR, AND CONTINUING WORK ON PARTNERS' SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES. ADDITIONALLY, SCHOOL PROGRAMS, HOME VISITS,COMMUNITY OUTREACH, AND CHILDREN'S MINISTRY WERE MAINSTAYS IN TRIP PROGRAMMING.
- $1.0 million spent. FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - WE HAVE TRANSITIONED FROM A CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO A FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. THIS TRANSITION TO A MORE HOLISTIC MINISTRY APPROACH WAS BORN OUT OF THE BELIEF THAT BEHIND EVERY CHILD IS A FAMILY, AND BEHIND THAT FAMILY IS A COMMUNITY. IN A BROADER VIEW, IT BECOMES CLEAR THAT BROKENNESS IN A COMMUNITY AND BROKENNESS IN A FAMILY AFFECTS THE MOST VULNERABLE PIECE OF ANY SOCIETY - THE CHILD.OUR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CONTINUES TO EXIST TO MEET DAILY NEEDS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO UNMET. THE MEANS THROUGH WHICH WE ACCOMPLISH THIS IS CHILD SPONSORSHIP. IN MANY COUNTRIES, FAMILIES ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR CHILDREN FINANCIALLY, WHICH IN TURN MAKES THEM SUSCEPTIBLE TO SEPARATION OR EXPLOITATION. OUR DESIRE IS TO KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER BY SUPPORTING IMPORTANT EFFORTS ALREADY BEING MADE IN VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES OR FACILITATING OUR OWN FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS IN SOME LOCATIONS. OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS PROVIDE FAMILIES IN HIGH-RISK POPULATIONS WITH BASIC NECESSITIES INCLUDING ITEMS SUCH AS CLEAN WATER, FOOD, MEDICAL ATTENTION, SHELTER, CLOTHING, EDUCATION, PROTECTION, AND OUR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CONTINUES TO EXIST TO MEET DAILY NEEDS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO UNMET. - EVENTS/FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS-OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS IN FISCAL YEAR 2025 ALLOWED US TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR REACH AROUND THE WORLD. THE MONEY RAISED THROUGH VARIOUS EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS WAS USED TO INCREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF OUR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL WORK IN BELIZE. SOME OF THE FUNDS WERE USED TO PURCHASE A NEW BUS. FUNDS WERE USED TO BUILD A MUCH NEEDED SECURITY WALL AROUND THE MAIN SITE AND INSTALL A MORE SECURE GATE. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PROVIDE MATTRESSES FOR THE POLICE OFFICERS WHO COME TO THE AREA SPECIFICALLY TO OFFER PROTECTION TO ARCAHAIE. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC WE WERE ABLE TO CONTINUE CONSTRUCTION ON PHASE 1 OF THE AUTOVIA COMMUNITY CENTER AND PAVILION. IN THE UNITED STATES, WE HAVE BEGUN TO EXPLORE HOW BOLD HOPE CAN HELP OUR NEIGHBORS IN BUCKS AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES WITH LOCAL PROGRAMMING. ADDITIONALLY, FUNDRAISING HELPED OFFSET OUR ONGOING ADMINISTRATIVE NEEDS GLOBALLY.
