Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $254,255 spent. RACE Cancer Foundation produced races and running challenges engaging well over 2,000 runners, cyclists, and walkers. The Tour de Barnstable increased participation from just over 200 finishers in its first year to over 300 in 2025. Additional events included our Winter Challenge, Super Sunday 5k/5M, Summer Series races, Oktoberfest 5k, and Charles River Half Marathon. Staying physically fit reduces the incidence of many types of cancer and has a positive impact on the lives of cancer survivors.
  2. $6,993 spent. RACE Cancer Foundation donated $4,000 directly to the Fishman family and $1,500 to the Matt Fishman Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship funds are for a high school student who is pursuing music, either as a performer or composer, if they have been impacted by cancer or another medical hardship, either personally or through a family member. Additionally, RACE Cancer Foundation donated $1,443 to the Peter J Musto Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Peter J. Musto by supporting students from Pennsylvania who have been affected by cancer, either through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a family member
  3. $782 spent. In addition to its own events, Race Cancer Foundation's Sunscreen Squad distributed sunscreen at the start of the Boston Marathon.
