Programs described in its return (1)
- $145,268 spent. Effective at the close of business on December 31, 2024, NWRA completed a board-approved transfer of specified assets and program operations to the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, acting on behalf of the Buffett Early Childhood Institute. The transaction was an asset transfer and did not constitute a merger or transfer of governance over NWRA as a separate Wisconsin nonprofit corporation. Implementation of the operational transition continued during the first several months of 2025. NWRA subsequently resumed independent organizational activity while the parties negotiated the return of specified assets. After fiscal year-end, the parties executed an agreement providing for the return of specified assets effective February 27, 2026. NWRA filed articles of dissolution in Wisconsin effective May 31, 2025, but revoked the dissolution on June 26, 2025. The revocation was retroactive under Wisconsin law, and NWRAs corporate existence remained continuous.
