  1. $77,168 spent. Back to School - In preparation for going back to school, The H.O.Y.C.E. Center hosts two events. In the Urbana-Champaign area, we partner with other organizations to give away backpacks filled with school supplies. In Chicago, we manage the Kids Corner as part of the Annual Bronzeville Summer Jazz Event. As part of the events, we provide backpacks filled with school supplies along with refreshments and entertainment. Since the onset of the pandemic, we began to include stress kits in each backpack to support youth during these stressful times. This year we are aiming to support the teachers as well and donate school supplies to designated individuals.
