To provide charity through the promotion of high school water polo and swimming in Los Alamitos, Calfornia through sponsoring the Los Alamitos High School teams.Los Alamitos High School Water Polo and Swimming offers four championship programs: Boys and Girls Water Polo and Boys and Girls Swim. The aquatics program complements one of the top academic schools. Los Alamitos High School is a four-time National Blue Ribbon School. The aquatics program graduates water polo players and swimmers who go on to play and swim at top NCAA Division I programs on an annual basis. Our aquatics program promotes teamwork, self-discipline, unselfishness, accountability, and commitment. Acquiring these attributes through diligence, teamwork, and life lessons are as important to the coaching staff as learning the intricacies of the sport itself. The primary mission of our Los Alamitos High School Water polo and Swimming booster club is to support and enhance the program. This typically involves several key activities: 1. Fundraising: Organizing events, seeking sponsorships, and managing donations to provide financial support for equipment, travel and transportation, and other needs that aren't fully covered by the school's budget. 2. Community Building: Creating a strong, supportive community around the teams, including fostering a positive environment for athletes, parents, and fans. This might involve organizing social events, team-building activities, and creating opportunities for families to get involved. 3. Advocacy: Acting as a liaison between the teams and the school administration or the broader community to ensure that the teams' needs and achievements are recognized and supported. 4. Volunteering: Coordinating volunteers to help with various aspects of running the program, such as organizing meets, managing concessions, or helping with team logistics.
