Programs described in its return (2)
- Sickle: The Minnesota premiere of a play by Abby Fenbert, directed by Vladimir Rovinsky and Lisa Channer. A group of women attempt to survive at the height of the Holodomor in their village in Ukraine. Although about a dark history, the play exudes surreal humor and featured live Ukranian music.
- An Ocean Away: A world premiere play by Andrei Kureichik, directed by Vladimir Rovinsky and Lisa Channer. Created with immigrants from the post-Soviet diaspora in Minnesota and based on interview, news media, and historical documents, this new play tells the story of watching the war in Ukraine from afar.
